Bus Transporting North Schuylkill Students Involved in Crash in Maryland Friday Morning

A charter bus transporting North Schuylkill students on a field trip in Maryland Friday morning was involved in a crash.


According to North Schuylkill officials, the Catawese bus was transporting 9th Grade and diversity club students on a field trip to the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC when it was involved in a minor accident at the intersection of Route 15 and Creamery Road in Frederick County, Maryland around 9:30am Friday morning.

The crash caused damage to the right front corner of the bus. 

There were 2 other Catawese buses with students on board  but were not involved in the crash.

According the Frederick County Fire & Rescue, 52 people were on board including 47 students, 4 chaperone adults, and the driver of the bus.  All occupants were evauluated at the scene and are returning home uninjured.
