Fire Companies Quickly Handle Rapidly Spreading Brush Fire In Lavelle

On Sunday afternoon, fire crews from Butler Township quickly put out a brush fire in Lavelle.


Around 2:15pm, Sunday afternoon, Butler Township fire companies from Lavelle and Fountain Springs were dispatched Lavelle Road in Lavelle for a brush fire.

Lavelle Fire was first on scene and found a rapidly spreading ground cover fire on Stemback Street.

Thanks to the quick work of the responding firefighters, crews ran 3 hose lines and had the fire out within 15 minutes.\\
