Fire Crews are responding to a working house fire in Mahanoy City.Just before 12:45pm, emergency personnel were dispatched to 537 West Centre Street, Mahanoy City, for a working structure fire.
The original call was reported to come in as a 2nd floor bedroom was filling up with smoke.
The first crews arriving classified it as working.
UPDATE: From crews on scene, Heavy smoke is being reported with fire in the floor of the 2nd floor.
UPDATE: The fire was reported under control just after 1:00pm.
