Aaron Kelly of American Idol fame will be a guest judge at the finals of Junior Idol to be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in center court of the Fairlane Village Mall.
Kelly was the youngest ever finalist on the American Idol TV show placing 5th at age 16 under the eyes of Simon Cowell and such. Aaron is from Central Pennsylvania and now is a national performer.
The Junior Idol youth vocal competition is hosted by the Schuylkill Theater Association.
The finalists for the Junior Idol youth vocal competition include Kailee Stewart, 14, of Mahanoy City, Tabbatha Ward, 13, of Barnesville, and Madeline Wittig, 16, of Frackville.
The top 3 were narrowed down after three weeks of competition which has been held the past 3 Tuesday's at the mall.
Kelly will be doing an autograph session prior to the start of the event beginning approximately 6:10 p.m. He will be bringing photos to sell to be autographed (this is the only item he will autograph). A photo opportunity with Aaron will also be available for a fee with all money going to Schuylkill Theater Association to help defray the cost of hosting the Junior Idol event.
