The "Trek of the Cross" is an annual event held in Gordon that is now in it's 41st year and is organized by Simpson United Methodist Church.
Jeffrey Nameth, of Frackville, who portrays Jesus, carried the cross through the borough along with two guards.
This was Nameth's 10 year portraying Jesus for the event.
Borough residents followed and also watch as the procession went down Hobart Street and back up McKnight before returning to the Methodist Church on Biddle Street.
