Surviving in addition to her parents Jerry and Lois, and her fiancé Curt, is a brother, Gerald Freed, Numedia, her fiancé’s children, Alex husband of Morgan Shenk, Manheim, Ashley Shenk, Lancaster, and Gianna Shenk, NJ. Kim will be lovingly missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and her fiancé’s immediate and extended family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Kim’s Funeral service at East Fairview Church of the Brethren, 1187 Fairview Rd, Manheim, PA, on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Frieda K. Levan, 92, of Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.
Born on April 11, 1926 in Pine Grove Twp., she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mabel Deichert Koons.
She was a member of the Suedberg Church of God, Pine Grove.
Frieda worked as a machine operator at Gold Mills, Pine Grove.
Frieda earned her solo pilots license in the 1940's.
Preceding her in death were her husband Charles E. Levan; four brothers, John Koons, Arnold Koons, Clair Koons, and George Koons.
Surviving are two sons, Harry and wife Jody Levan of Pine Grove, John and wife Sharon Levan of Wyomissing; four grandchildren, Whitney Levan, Wade Levan, Shelley Stokes, Susan Levan; six great grandchildren, Carly and Jillian Stokes, Kendall Melcher, Everlee Harris, Lucas and Eliza Levan.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Nancy Lou Degler, 85, of Orwigsburg, passed away Sunday, April 14th, at Providence Place Retirement Community, Pottsville.
She was formerly of East Brunswick Township. Nancy was born in Shoemakersville on December 7, 1933, a daughter of the late Anna (Hepner) and George Jacob Dunkel. She was the wife of William Arthur Degler. They were married on September 24, 1955. She was a housewife, dedicated mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by a son William, husband of Kimberly Degler of Schuylkill Haven; Granddaughter Katie Degler McNulty and her husband Andrew, Great grandson Conar McNulty and sister Pamela McFadden, wife of John P., Phillipsburg, NJ. She is predeceased by siblings George Dunkel Jr,, Floyd Dunkel, Jane Mengel and Shirley Dunkel.
A religious service will be held on Friday, April 19 at 11 AM, at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg, with Pastor Steward Warner officiating.
The public is invited to call from 10 AM until time of service. Interment immediately following at Zion's Red Church Cemetery Association, Orwigsburg.
