Terry L. Dietrick, 73, of Ashland. passed away Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at his home. born in Mowry, Schuylkill County, PA May 19,1945 the son of the late Lewis and Anna (Snyder) Dietrick. He graduated from Ashland High School and worked for Gilberton Coal Co. until retirement. He loved woodworking, taking trips to the shore with his family and hunting. He loved his grandpups; Sadie, Tickle and Dutchess.
Surviving are his wife Kathy ( O'Neill) Dietrick, Ashland and son Michael husband of Tracie Dietrick of Ashland. Two brothers and two sisters survive: James Lewis husband of Lynn Dietrick, Ashland; Charles Dietrick of Gordon; Marlene Walter of Ashland and Lois Geho of Palmyra, PA. Granddaughter Kayla Dietrick, Coal Twp., PA and nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral Services will be held from the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home Inc., Ashland, PA, at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, May 1st, with Susan Hocking C.S.M officiating.
Interment at Sunnyside Cemetery, Lavelle, PA.
Viewing Wednesday 10:00-12:00 P.M. at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home Inc., Ashland, PA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Janet Weis Children's Hospital, 100 Academy Lane, Danville, PA 17822. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, PA is in charge of arrangements.

Harold Ernest Kerby, Jr., age 78, of Auburn, PA passed away Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Frackville.
Harold Ernest Kerby, Jr., age 78, of Auburn, PA passed away Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Frackville.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 21, 1941, he was the son of the late Harold Ernest and Mertil Louise (Stahl) Kerby Sr. Harry was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1959. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Airman 2nd class from July 15, 1959 till July 14, 1965. Harry was a car dealer and owned and operated K Auto Sales on the Saint Clair-Port Carbon Highway.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Fran Becker. Harry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Roland) Kerby; a daughter Sandra Kerby Davis and her companion Joe Powanda; a son James Kerby; grandson Mark Stevenosky Jr; granddaughter Jessica Stevenosky; grandsons: Lucas, Jacob, Nicholas, and Carter Kerby; a sister Laurel Calloway; a brother Christian Kerby; and nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held on Monday April 29th at 11:30AM at the Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home, 208 Pike St. Port Carbon.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10-11:30AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held private at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.

Herbert T. Reigel longtime Tamaqua area businessman and resident, passed away suddenly on Saturday April 27, 2019 in Florida where he and his wife of sixty-one years Shirley Ruth (Schuetrumpf) Reigel wintered at the age of 83.
Herb, is also survived by; sons, Thomas P. Reigel of Lansford, Daniel J. Reigel and his wife Carol of Tamaqua, Jeffrey A. Reigel and his wife Connie of Tamaqua, Herbert D. Reigel and his wife Lisa of Hughesville, MD, Timothy Reigel and his wife Leslie of Beachwood, NJ; brother, Raymond Reigel of Avon Park FL; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Herb graduated from Summit Hill High School and served honorably in the United States Army. He owned and operated Reigel Plumbing, Heating & Fuel Oil, serving the greater Tamaqua area for forty-five years retiring in 2008. Herb was a member of St. John U.C.C., Tamaqua Elks, Tamaqua Lodge #238 F&AM Masons, American Hose Fire Company, and Gideons International.
During the fall Herb enjoyed watching college football on Saturdays following Penn State, and the Dallas Cowboys on Sundays
Born in Summit Hill the son of the late Raymond, and Katherine (Krapf) Reigel. He was also predeceased by; sisters, Dorothy Krebs; brother, Frederick Reigel.

May A. Miller, 96, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, passed away April 26 at LifeQuest Nursing Center, Quakertown, where she had been a resident.
Born in Schuylkill Haven on Dec. 22, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ida Motes Reed.
She was the widow of Guy L. Miller, who passed away in January of 2005.
In addition to her parents and husband, May is also preceded in death by her son, James A. Miller, in June of 2012; two brothers, Charles A. and Carl M. Reed; and a sister, Margaret Reed Sattizahn.
She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1940, and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven.
May was formerly employed by Argo Knitting Mill, Schuylkill Haven, and the Schuylkill Haven Police Department as the first female officer.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry, wife of Gary L. Dubble, Quakertown; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Norman Reed; and daughter-in-law, Debra Miller, both of Schuylkill Haven.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Janet Lewis officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. Elsie E. Moyer, 91, lifelong resident of Newtown, passed away Thursday, April 25th at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Elsie was born February 19, 1928, a daughter of the late William and Katie Klinger Renninger.
She was a 1945 graduate of Reilly Township High School and a 1946 graduate of Empire Beauty School.
For over six decades Elsie was the owner and operator of Elsie's Beauty Shop, Newtown. Elsie and her husband Cliff were the owner and operators of multiple french fry and ice cream stands throughout the Renningers Farmers Markets. Elsie continued the business for over 50 years at the Kutztown location.
She was a member of St. John's Church Ladies Aid Society and a member of Friedens Lutheran Church.
Elsie was a life member of the Newtown Volunteer Fire Company and a founding member of its ladies auxiliary.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford B. Moyer, siblings, Sara Wetzel, Earl Renninger, Leroy Renninger and "sisters" Hattie and Esther Renninger.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Moyer and his wife Judy, Newtown; daughter, Elaine Moyer Rife, Lititz; granddaughters, Michelle Delaney, Melissa Koch, Cori Moyer Rife and Erin Rife. Great grandchildren, Alison Koch, Matthew Delaney and Shawn Delaney. Nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Burial will be in the Schuylkill Memorial Park. David W. Viars, Jr. 41 of Pottsville, died Sunday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born February 22, 1978 in Pottsville son of Violet Butler Viars and the late David W. Viars, Sr.
He attended Pottsville Area High School.
In addition to his father David was preceded in death by a daughter, Caitlin Viars, paternal grandparents, Shirley and Corbin Viars, maternal grandparents, Betty Dixon and John Rich. a nephew Ryan; surviving in addition to his mothers is a fiancé, Maryann Shadler, 5 sons, Brandan, Brody, Brentyn, Blantynn, and David W. Viars, III; 2 sisters, Alice Krisa and Tanya Viars; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services and interment will be private.
