The Tamaqua Sr. High School Vocal Music Department has announced that Emily Barrett has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2019 Schuylkill County Chorus Festival Vocal Scholarship.
The $300 award is presented annually by the Schuylkill County Choral Directors Association as part of the Schuylkill County Chorus Festival. The scholarship is awarded to outstanding seniors that are planning a career in music.
Emily is planning to major in music therapy. Currently she is considering Marywood University or Immaculata College. She is the daughter of Colleen Barrett of Tamaqua.
