Ashland Borough Council Meeting Notes from the May Monthly Meeting held on May 09, 2019.

A multi-modal transportation grant was voted on and approved.
A municipal planning grant agreement was voted on approved.
The council voted on and approved the appointment of Brandon McDemus at EMA Coordinator for the borough.
The council voted on accepting a bid from Jason Stevens for the sale of their 2006 GMC Dump Truck for $4,588.88.
Under "other" business

Borough Manager Ray Jones requested permission to advertise the ordinance adopting the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code. Updating it from the 2009 International Property Maintenance Code.
Chief Ger Daley recommended the hiring of the Elizabeth Raibeck, of Schuylkill Haven as a part-time police office. Daley said she comes with experience as a park ranger at Shikellamy State Park. Council voted and unanimously approved.
