Maureen was born in Jackson Heights, NY on October 3, 1946, a daughter of the late Mary (O'Conner) and David Dexter.
Maureen is survived by two daughters, Christine McDonald, of Easton;
Serena Leland, of Boulder Co; by two sisters, Patricia Shakiban, of Greenville SC; Kera Rodgers, of Tamaqua.
She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren
Maureen is preceded in death by a sister Deirdre Moore.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Barbara E. Fernando, age 79, of Pottsville, PA passed away Thursday, May 16th, 2019 at her son Tony's home in Vermont.
Born in Pottsville, PA on September 7, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Jerussell (Marchock) Kocur.
Barbara was a graduate of Saint Clair High School, Class of 1957. She then graduated from the Empire Beauty School in Pottsville in 1961. Barbara worked as a seamstress for the garment industry and owned and operated Barb's Card and Gift Shop in Middleport.
She was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia and loved to crochet..
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Louis A. Fernando on September 12, 2016 and a brother Russell Kocur.
Barbara is survived by a son Tony Fernando, Vermont; a daughter Bobbi Murray and her husband Eddie, Pottsville; four grandchildren: Marielle and Garrett Fernando, Connecticut and Lucy and Sophie Murray, Pottsville; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia at 11AM on Tuesday, May 28th, with Rev. Ronald Minner officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday morning from 8:30-10:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St. Port Carbon.
Interment will be held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Philadelphia.

Rita M. Troutman, 94 of Pottsville, died Saturday at The Gardens at York Terrace.
She was born August 1, 1924 in Pottsville a daughter of the late John and Isabel Lawson Rice.
She was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School.
Prior to retiring she was a CNA at York Terrace, Pottsville. She also worked for Bell Telephone and Troutman Meat Market in Klingerstown.
Rita was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Schlitzer on June 1, 1976 and her second husband Bruce Troutman on April 7, 2009; a brother, Richard Rice; 3 sisters, Isabel Adelizzi, Jean Kovich, and Elizabeth Orlowsky. Surviving are 2 daughters, Jane Shoener and her husband Terry, Selingsgrove; Ann Louise Scheuer and her husband Richard, New Ringgold; a son, John Schlitzer and his wife Diane, Mohnton; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 2 sister, Joan Wellner, Bethlehem and Barbara Lombel, Millsville, Del; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11AM from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville with Rev. David J. Loeper as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10-11AM Wednesday at the church. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to Salvation Army PO Box 107. Johanne R. Fabiani, 93 of Pottsville, died Friday night at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
She was born January 17, 1926 a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Mary DiCello Luppino.
She was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School.
Johanne was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, catholic daughters, a former member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, where she help out with the spaghetti dinners and was a member to the church's Ladies Guild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Fabiani, on Dec 14, 2001; siblings, Mary Luppino, Gayton Luppino, Anthony Luppino, Grace Joy, and Joseph Luppino. Surviving are 2 sons, Vincent Fabiani and his wife Darlene, West West Terrace; Gerard Fabiani, Pottsville; a daughter, Michelle Sekula, and her husband George, Towanda; 5 grandchildren, Alicia Gombola and her husband Patrick, Pottsville; Melissa Fabiani, Nashville, TN; Dr. Stacy Sekula Madaus and her husband Justin Madaus, Chicago, Ill Joseph R Sekula and his wife Sabrina Sekula Ulster; Justin M Sekula Canton, MI 3 Great-Grandchildren Peyton Michele Madaus, Lucas and Nora Gombola; a Step-Great Granddaughter Savannah Finan; a brother, Michael Luppino, Landsdale; nieces and nephews.

Jennifer A. Hummel Kruies, 39, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Forestville, Cass Township, passed away on Saturday at UPMC McKeesport.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Marlene Mabry Harris, Forestville, and the late Russell Hummel, Jr. She attended Minersville schools and studied cosmetology at the Schuylkill Technology Center - South Campus. She worked as a waitress in several restaurants, both in Schuylkill County and in Pittsburgh.
In addition to her mother, Jenn is survived by her husband, Cody Kruies, York; her partner and close friend, Andrea Goff, Hamburg, New York; her stepfather, Michael Harris, Ashland; seven siblings, Anna Heffner, Pottsville, Catherine Sausser (spouse Michael), Friedensburg, Russel Hummel (spouse, Carol), Minersville, Kathleen Roshannon (spouse, John), Minersville, Pamela Maley, Pottsville, Michelle Barr (spouse, Shawn), Minersville, and Angie Mazurkevich (spouse, Tony), Mount Carmel; nieces and nephews.

Robert L. Truscott, 68, of Buck Run, Foster Township, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday at his home.
Born on October 17, 1950 in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Walter Truscott, Sr. and the late Ann Cartwright Truscott. He attended Minersville schools, and worked as a pipe layer for Renda Construction, New Jersey, for over 50 years.
He was a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, Minersville.
Preceding him in death were a grandson, Seth Knarr, on April 16; three siblings, Ralph Truscott, Walter Truscott, Jr. and Jane Mickey.
Rob is survived by his wife, the former Donna Trusky, with whom he would have been married 43 years on June 5; his daughter, Sheila Truscott Pangaio and her husband Stephen, Minersville; a granddaughter, Jayden Pangaio; two brothers, Edward Truscott, Flemington, New Jersey, and George Truscott, Pottsville; nieces and nephews.

Thomas Schreppel, 82, of Barnesville, formerly of Shenandoah, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019, after a very short battle with cancer at St. Luke’s Hospital-Miners Campus, Coaldale.
He was a son of the late Earl and Catherine (Lacey) Schreppel, of Raven Run.
He was the youngest and last of the Schreppel siblings, Joan, Ray, William and Edward. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Catherine “Katie” Romanuski Schreppel, and his eldest son, Tom Jr.
Tom is survived by two sons, John, Fort Lauderdale, and James, Shenandoah; three daughters, Linda, wife of Martin Galvin, Galway, Ireland, Cathy, wife of Jason Beloncik, Virginia, and Jayne, Hometown; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Tom retired in 1999 from Ateeco Inc., Shenandoah, after 28 years. His first job was Hammas Bakery, Shenandoah Heights. After that while, still a teenager, he worked in Pagnotti Coal Mine in Raven Run for 15 years, where he had several very close brushes with death. Later he worked in Ludens Candy Factory and Hahn Firetruck Co. in Hamburg before returning to Shenandoah and working in Ateeco.
Tom was a shy, quiet gentleman, and perfectly complimented the outgoing and gregarious Katie Schreppel; their love for each other was deep, and he continued to grieve for her in the 10 years since her death. He will be forever missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside interment services at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.

Dale S. Rehrer, 64, of Mountain Rd., Pine Grove, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer.
Born on March 23, 1955 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Lester and Marian Donton Rehrer and step son of the late Lena Mohl Rehrer.
He was a 1973 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a member of Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
Dale worked as a Welder for Summit Trailers Schuylkill Haven.
He loved his grandchildren and was an avid hunter and gardener. He also loved antiques.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Dennis Rehrer.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Melissa Zerbe Rehrer; son, Daniel Shoener of Donaldson; daughter, Nicole Shoener Witherow and husband Jeremy of Pine Grove; two grandchildren, Joshua and Jayden Witherow.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 6:30 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Jill Bierwirth officiating. There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 23, 2019, from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Jacob's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, P. O. Box 332 Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 in his memory.
