She was born on Wednesday, July 7, 1943, in Barry Twp, a daughter of the late Percy Deeter and the late Margaret Geist Deeter.
She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.
LaRae enjoyed cooking, puzzles, was a life long Elvis fan, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed serving her community throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by five brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband David A Lucas, to whom she was married for 45 years.
She is also survived by two daughters, Denise Clark and her husband John of Hegins and Christine Love of O'Fallon, IL; a son, David A Lucas, Jr and his wife Angel of Valley View; five grandchildren, Jonathan Clark, Jeremy Clark, Jessica Neumeister, Isabella Lucas, and Lola Lucas; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Deeter of Hegins; four sisters, Margaret Reichenbach of Trevorton, Marlene Lucas of Lavelle, Dorothy Conniff of Lavelle, and June Sweinhart of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be private in Salem Cemetery, Weishample.

Roger Boyer, 80, of 217 Doutyville Rd, Shamokin passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at his home.
Born June 19, 1938 in Pitman has a son the late Margaret (Morgan) and Darwin Boyer.
He graduated from the Tri-Valley High School in 1956 and was employed as a truck driver for the Split Vein Coal Co.
Roger was a member of East Cameron Township Hose Co. and the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and loved working in his wood shop.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Dianna (Kramer) Boyer, they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on July 4, 2019; three children, Rodney Boyer and his wife Jean, Linda Kahler and her husband Robert and Robert Boyer and his wife Rene; five grandchildren, Jessica Kahler, Ryan Boyer, Mitchell Boyer, Randon Boyer and Matthew Boyer.
He was preceded in death by a grandson Michael Kahler; and four sisters Marian Adams, Lois Rutz, Jean Klouser, and Anne Koppenhaver.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 10-11 AM at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Jacob’s Cemetery, Pitman.

June F. (Davis) Harris, 88, of Pottsville passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with her granddaughter, Teresa by her side.
Born in Mt. Carbon, June 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Irene May (DeLong) Davis.
She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church, Pottsville. She worked in the garment industry for several years and the Pottsville Republican in the circulation department. She loved to write poetry, knitting, cats and dogs, and most importantly she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, James L. Harris, sons, Terrence and William; daughter Lisa Jean; step daughter, Carolyn, and granddaughter Tiffany Rae
June is survived by her step sons, James Jr. and Robert Harris; step-daughter, Joann Autera, and her “adopted daughter” Donna Rohrbaugh. June was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly. June is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11AM on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville. Pastor John Wallace will be officiating. Family and friends may call from 9AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville.

Stephen Swartz , 66, of Tamaqua, formerly of Frackville died Saturday May 25, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Frackville, February 20, 1953, He was a son of the late Waldemar and Dorothy (Dellock)
Swartz.
He was a 1971graduate of Frackville High School.
Stephen retired from Kraft Foods formerly of Allentown.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother David Swartz.
Surviving are 4 sons Stephen Swartz of Drums; Samuel Swartz of Tamaqua; David Swartz of Tamaqua; Seth Swartz of Tamaqua; a sister Patricia Cutrona of Frackville; 3 Grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Orwigsburg. She was employed as an Secretary and bookkeeper at Matz Electric in Orwigsburg, retiring in 1976.
Catherine is survived by a daughter, Patricia A. Kunkle, and her companion Gerald Henn of New Ringgold, a son, Richard P. Kriner Jr. and his wife Terri, of Orwigsburg, sister Patricia Wright, of Connecticut; Grandsons Jason, husband of Amy; Matthew Kunkle, Companion of Elizabeth Hartzell; and Andrew Kriner, husband of Shannon. There are two great grandsons Mace and Jacob Kunkle.
Kay was predeceased in death by her granddaughter Michelle Kunkle and brothers Robert, Joseph and Richard Carley
A Celebration of Life service will be held on June 3 at 10 AM with Pastor Steward Warner officiating. The public is invited to call from 9 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. Schuylkill Haven.
