Representatives of the Schuylkill League made a stop this week to make a donation to the STC Food Truck Campaign.
The Schuylkill Technology Center has a capital campaign currently underway to raise $100,000 for supplies and equipment needed for students to convert a former bakery truck into a fully functioning food truck.
The Capital Campaign will run through the 19/20 Academic Year, and once completed, Culinary Students, accompanied by their instructor, will utilize the vehicle to participate in local events. Proceeds from food truck sales will benefit STC Student Initiatives.
This past week, Steve Toth, Schuylkill League Representative, donated $500 check to the STC Food Truck Project.
