Police have identified the victim in a fatal crash in Hubley Township on Friday.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred near the intersection of Route 25 and Kushwa Road in Hubley Township near Valley View around 1:30pm.
Police say the crash happened when Lorelei Oswald, 75, of Zerbe, was driving a Ford Fusion west on Route 25 and drifted into the eastbound lanes and hit David A. Lucas, 67, of Hegins, who was driving a Ford Taurus, head on.
David Lucas, Lorelei Oswald, and a passenger with Oswald, Jamie Oswald, 43, of Tremont all were seriously injured in the crash and flown via helicopter to Geisinger Hospital, Danville.
A passenger with Lucas, LaRae Lucas, 75, of Hegins, died in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Al Barnes.
