The Jim Thorpe Police Department has charged David Paul Hunsicker, Jr, 53 of Frackville with various sex related crimes.
The charges stem from allegations that are from 1992-1996 from a female who had been sexually assaulted from age 5 to age 9.
Hunsicker has been arraigned via video arraignment by on call Magisterial District Judge Casimir Kosciolek, of Lansford, PA.
Hunsicker has been charged with Rape of Mentally ill or Deficient Victim, Rape / Person less than 13 years age, Statutory Rape, Statutory Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault, Indecent Assault Over 18 / under 14, Indecent Assault Person less than 13 years of age, and Corruption of Minors.
Magistrate Kosciolek set bail at $50,000 / 10 %. Hunsicker is currently in Carbon County Correctional awaiting a Preliminary hearing set for July 10, 2019 at Magistrate Eric Schrantz’s office in Jim Thorpe.
