Anne Marie “Pete” (Bova) Bosavage, 78, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, in New Ringgold at the home of her son, James.
Anne Marie “Pete” (Bova) Bosavage, 78, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, in New Ringgold at the home of her son, James.
Pete was born in Milford, CT on May 4, 1941, and was a daughter of the late Antoinette (Torzillo) and George Arnold.
She was previously employed as a Nursing Assistant at Broad Mountain Manor in Frackville.
Pete will be dearly missed by her husband, Ronald Bosavage, and their dog, LuLu.
Pete was preceded in death by two sons, David and Steven Bova; two sisters, Diane Hummel and Colleen McFadden; and is survived by three sons James Bova (Karen) of New Ringgold, PA; Michael Bova (Lynn) of Newport News, VA; and Danny Bova of Shenandoah, PA; two sisters, Connie Colligon and Carol Cagnetti of Bristol, PA; one brother, George “Sonny” Arnold of Shenandoah, PA; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and friends who were like family.
She was a Dodgers fan who loved to read, loved the beach, and very much enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a strong woman with a beautiful soul, and touched the hearts of many. She had so much love to give, and made everyone feel like they were part of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

James Brian Keating, age 56, of Pottsville, PA , passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 24th, 2019 at his home.
Born in Pottsville, PA on August 23, 1962, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gloria (Dowling) Keating. Jim worked as a supervisor for PENN DOT until retiring. He was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, who loved building bikes, and he was avid hunter, who also enjoyed the outdoors.
Jim is survived by his daughter Nicole Keating and her fiance' Dennis Verbosh Jr.; two sisters: Pat Reilly and her husband John and Karen Graeff and her husband Jay; three brothers: Bobby Keating Sr., Kevin Keating, and Joseph Keating Jr. and his wife Georgette; and nieces and nephews.
Services and Interment will be held private.

John “Jack” E. Martin, Sr., 89, of Tamaqua, PA and formerly of Coaldale, PA died on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Hometown, PA. He was the husband of Isabelle (nee Lanham) Martin to whom he would have been married 66 years in August. Born in Coaldale on June 14, 1930, Jack was a son of the late Joseph Martin and Elizabeth (nee Murphy) Martin Havron. A 1948 graduate of the former Coaldale High School, he served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Jack worked for the Coaldale State Hospital for many years before being employed by the Allentown State Hospital. He was a member of the First Congregational Church, Coaldale where he served on the Board of Managers. Jack also was a member of the Coaldale American Legion and the Schuylkill East Gideons. In addition to his wife Isabelle, he is survived by sons, John E. Martin, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Virginia Beach, VA and Jeffrey E. Martin and his wife Melissa of Tuscarora, PA; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Julo and her husband Jack of Allentown, PA. Jack was predeceased by daughters, Joyann Martin in 1985 and Jo Ann Hafer in 2005 and brothers, William Martin and Dennis Havron. Vincent J. Dacquisto Sr., a loving husband, father and grandfather, 84, of Ringtown, passed away on Wednesday morning at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus.
Born in Shenandoah, on June 23, 1935, he was the son of the late Frank and Rose Marnell Dacquisto.
Vince was a 1952 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.
He was a dedicated and hardworking man. After 35 years, he retired from U.S. Steel, Fairless Hills, where he was employed as an electrician and motor inspector. Vince was a member and former officer of the United Steelworkers Union.
Vince was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah, formerly Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed the outdoors and loved dogs. As his wife is an excellent cook, he enjoyed many meals shared with his family and friends. He loved his family; he was a hero to his children and grandchildren.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his son, Vincent J. Dacquisto Jr., on March 28, 2014.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, the former Jean Bubnis; one son, Neal Dacquisto, of Ringtown; one daughter, Susan Sturges, of Bernville; two grandchildren, Vincent Dacquisto, of Pitman, New Jersey, and Melissa Dacquisto, of Ringtown; nephews, cousins and many friends.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
