The beach at Locust Lake State Park reopened Thursday after being closed by DCNR.
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) closed the Beach at Locust Lake State Park to swimming on Wednesay because of resampling requirements.
As a precaution, the beach remained closed until acceptable water sample results are received.
On Thursday, acceptable testing results were gather and the beach reopened.
Other activities at Locust Lake State Park, such as camping, picnicking, hiking and fishing proceeded as usual during the beach closing.
