A woman was injured early Saturday morning in a crash in East Union Township.Around 4:20am, Saturday, emergency personnel were dispatched to Route 924 for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment in East Union Township.
Crews arrived to find a single vehicle that crash into a ditch and a tree.
It took emergency personnel roughly 45 minutes to free the woman that was driving the vehicle.
The unidentified woman was taken to an area hospital via Medic 64 with unknown injuries.
Responding to the scene were Sheppton Oneida Fire, West End Fire of Mahanoy City, Shenandoah ALS, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
