Stephen Torola, age 98, of Saint Clair, PA passed away Friday, July 12th, 2019 at Rosewood Nursing Home in Schuylkill Haven.
Born in Saint Clair, PA on August 7, 1920, he was the son of the late Michael and Fenya (Prebzack) Torola.
Stephen was a graduate of Saint Clair High School, Class of 1939. He served in the U.S. Marines as a Field Cook in WW II. Stephen worked as a Press Operator for ALCOA in Cressona for 25 years until retiring in 1977.
He was a member of the St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon and a member of the Saint Clair Baseball Old Timers Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Regina (Kelly) Torola in 2007, a granddaughter Shannon, a brother Michael Torola, and three sisters: Mary Blackwell, Helen Porkop, and Elizabeth Rys
Stephen is survived by two daughter's: Ann Marie Convey and her husband Frank, Ohio and Margaret Christman and her husband Dennis, Oley, PA; a son Stephen T. Torola and his wife Janice, Pine Grove, PA; seven grandchildren: Claudine, Heather Ann, Michelle, Nicole, Jennifer, Ethel Mae, Shannon, and Stephen; eleven great-grandchildren: Ethan, Emily, Atticus, Huckelberry, Clash, Miles, Gracey, Collin, Oscar, Flynn and Mika; a brother John Torola, St. Clair, PA; two sisters: Dorothy McGee, St. Clair, PA; and Anna Koltosky, Pottsville, PA; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon at 10:30AM on Wednesday, July 17th, with Msgr. William Glosser officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30AM at St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church.
Interment with Military Honors will be held in the St. Stephen Cemetery in Port Carbon.

Augusta 'Gussy' Lindenmuth, 85, of Ringtown, passed away Wednesday, July 10th, 2019 while a guest at the Orwigsburg Center.
Augusta was born in Ringtown, on April 10, 1934, a daughter of the late Augusta (Kline) and John Dettery.
She was a 1952 graduate of Conygham Twp. high school and was retired after being employed in the local garment industry.
Survivng are her daughter and care giver Carol McShaw along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
As per Gussy's wishes, no public services will be held.

Ruth M Lehman, 92, of Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Rosewood Rehab and Nursing Center, Schuylkill Haven.
Born on October 9, 1926 in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie Hummel.
She was a 1944 graduate of Pine Grove High School. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Pine Grove and the Pine Grove Historical Society.

Ruth worked at Canoe Mfg, Pine Grove.
She was an avid photographer and always had a camera in her hand.
Preceding her in death were her husband Albert H. Lehman, Sr. and a sister Grace McAllister.
Surviving are a son Albert H. Lehman, Jr. of Pine Grove; grandson, Zachary Lehman of State College; two nieces, Liese Seaman and Marta Lindsay.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. from the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Dr. Ira Lydic officiating.There will be a visitation on Friday, July 19, 2019 from Noon until 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Pine Grove Historical Society P.O. Box 65 Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.
