A truck driver rescued a dog Monday, after watching the animal being thrown from a vehicle along Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County.
According to SPCA officials, a truck driver witnessed a dog being thrown from a van near the High Ridge Exit in Butler Township on Southbound Interstate 81 around 1:00pm Monday.
The truck driver was able to stop and keep the dog safe from traffic and called SPCA officials.
The truck driver was unable to get a license plate number and could only describe the vehicle as a gold colored van.
The dog, which is described as a catahoula leopard dog, is reported to be very sweet and in good condition.
