Almost 250 vehicles participated in Saturday's 26th Anniversary of the Great Pottsville Cruise.
The event, which was billed as, Northeast PA's largest car event, brought in hundreds of classic cars, hot rods, trucks, corvettes, and more on a beautiful Summer Saturday in Pottsville.
Registration began early Saturday at Jerry's Classic Car Museum where participants parked along Centre Street, met up with other enthusiasts and talked about their vehicles. Dave Smith from Spinjammers Entertainment was on hand to provide music.
After registration, participants cruised Pottsville while onlookers lined the streets to watch.
After cruising, participants moved to Centre Street and Progress Avenue, in Downtown Pottsville where judging began and the official car show was held.
Music for the Car Show was provided by the 50's and 60's band, Shake, Rattle, & Soul.
Trophies for the winners were handed at 7:30pm as the event concluded.
**We will have a listing of all winners at a later date**
The event benefited the Pottsville Lions Club Charities and the Pottsville Pride Event.
