The Ashland Community Watch held it's third annual Night Out at the American Legion located at 5th and Centre Street in the borough.
The event was organized to help the families familiarize themselves better with the community's organizations.
Organizations at the event included the members and apparatus from the American Hose Company and Washington Hook and Ladder, Ashland Ambulances, law enforcement members and vehicles from the Ashland Police Department, Schuylkill County Sheriff's Office, and Butler Township Police.
Community organizations that attended included the Boys Scouts, American Red Cross, the Ashland Community Watch, the American Legion, the Ashland Public Library, Schuylkill Women in Crisis, Sexual Assault Resource & Counseling, and Rangers from the Weiser Forest (DCNR). Rock N' Racer DJ'd the event.
