Fire crews are responding to a working house fire near Mount Carbon.Around 9:15am, emergency personnel were dispatched to a house fire near the intersection of Glenworth Road and Cressona Road near Mount Carbon.
Heavy fire was reported as crews arrived and a column of smoke could be seen for miles.
Units from Pottsville, Mount Carbon, and Minersville were called to the scene as well as Tamaqua's RIT.
A tanker task force was also called.
