A man is facing charges and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after he was caught adjusting prices at the Hometown Walmart.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, the Hometown Walmart Asset Protection observed, Paul Weirich, 32, of Coaldale, marking merchandise to a lower price.
After Weirich paid for the items at a lower price, asset protection detained Weirich until police arrived.
Weirich is facing felony charges of retail theft and arraigned before on-call Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $2,500 cash bail.
