Maryann Dorothy Subick, 72, of Girardville, formerly of Mahanoy City, passed away Thursday, August 8th, peacefully, at her residence.
Maryann was born in Mahanoy City, PA on February 6, 1947, a daughter of the late Anna (Logan) and William Uditis.
She graduated from Mahanoy Area class of 1964.
She had worked at the former General Cigar, Mahanoy City, the former McCrory’s department store at the Schuylkill Mall, and Hollander Home Fashions, Frackville.
She was the wife of George Subick.
Maryann is also survived by a daughter, Stephanie, wife of Peter Kleeman, of Girardville; a son, George Jason Subick, of Girardville; and by a sister, Patricia McCaul, of Drums. Nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a brother Joseph.
Interment will be private in the National Cemetery at Fort Indiantown Gap Annville, PA.

Michael F. Grady Jr., 67, Girardville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 7th at his residence.

Clyde W. Spehrley 86 of New Ringgold passed away Tuesday while at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Cedar Crest
Born in Pottsville, January 30, 1933 he was the son of the late William and Dorothy Spehrley.
Clyde was a 1951 graduate of the Pottsville Area High School. He then went on to serve in the United States Army as a Corporal during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Lewistown Valley.
Clyde worked as a parts salesman for several General Motors dealerships for over 42 years. He retired from Bob Weaver Chevrolet in 2002.
Clyde also owned an operated a Christmas tree farm on his property for his entire life from when his father started the farm the year Clyde was born.
He was a member of the East Brunswick Township Planning Commission. He was also a member of the New Ringgold Fire Company and a member of the American Legion Post #38 in Schuylkill Haven.
In addition to his parents Clyde is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth M. Spehrley. He is also predeceased by their son William C. Spehrley who passed away in 1971 and a sister, Dorothy Jean Kinsinger.
Clyde is survived by his daughter Joanne Spehrley of New Ringgold and his grandson Jared Ward of New Ringgold.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. Pastor Susan Moore will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services. Interment with military honors will follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Louise M. Peiffer, 85, of Summit Station, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, at her daughter's residence.
Born in Saint Clair, on Nov. 26, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Ellen (Shank) Moyer.
Louise was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School; and was formerly employed as a presser at local textile factories.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn. Louise also belonged to the Schuylkill Haven Senior Citizens group.
She was the widow of William A. Peiffer, who passed away Feb. 20, 2012.
In addition to her husband, Louise was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, William J. Heffner Jr. As the last surviving member of her immediate family, she is also preceded in death by all of her siblings.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Heffner, Summit Station; son, Dennis Peiffer and wife, Joanne, Chattanooga, Tenn.; three grandchildren, William J. Heffner III, Ashley Heffner and Hannah Peiffer; one great-grandson, Matthew Krause.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn, with Pastor Kenneth McDowell officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow the service at Summer Hill Cemetery, Auburn. Michael J. Brennan, Jr., 78, of Williamstown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday,while on vacation in Delaware.
Born in Pottsville, September 8, 1940, a son of the late Michael Sr. and N. Romaine Evans Brennan.
Mike was a 1958 graduate of Williamstown Catholic High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Mike retired as a Maintenance Supervisor from the former AMP, Inc, Tower City.
He was a life member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, where he currently served as an extraordinary minister. He was a life member of the Liberty Hose Company #1, Williamstown where he served as Sgt. of the Fire Police and was also a trustee, he was a member of the Williamstown American Legion and the Tower City Loyal Order of Moose. He was also a charter member of the former Williamstown Jaycees.
Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and being at the beach. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan but the happiest times was when he was surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren whom he was extremely proud of.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Nancy Evans Brennan; his two children, Michelle M. Snyder and her husband Wade, Harrisburg; Michael C. Brennan and his wife Katie, Tower City; one sister, Marie Staley and her husband Mike, Dauphin; two brothers, William Brennan and his wife Janet and Marty Brennan and his wife Connie, both of Williamstown; five grandchildren he adored, Andy, Ben and Lilly Snyder; Dawson and Connor Brennan. Nieces and Nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday, August 13th at 11:00 am from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown with Rev. Michael Opoki as celebrant.
