Robert Yeager, 67, formerly of Frackville, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 13th, suddenly, at his residence in Branch Township.
Born on February 7, 1952, he was the son of the late Clarence Yeager and Anna Pavlishin.
Robert was a 1971 graduate of North Schuylkill High School. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, a member of the Second Mountain Rod & Gun Club, previously a member of the Schuylkill County Corvette Club, and formerly a member of the Frackville Elks.
A certified master mechanic, Robert was the current owner of Yeager’s Restoration. An ambitious man, he was previously employed by Blaschak Coal, Geupel Const., CLS Coal Co., Doli Const., Mazzucca Ent.; a member of the Heavy Equipment Operating Engineers Local 542, Reading. Robert was also proudly an elected Branch Township Supervisor for six years.
His passion for cars, most notably Corvettes, Harleys, and anything automotive, extended into every facet of his life.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Barbara Peel Yeager, affectionately known by him as his ‘Dolly’, formerly of Mahanoy City, a daughter, Kendall Peel (his KD), of Philadelphia, a daughter Jenna Yeager, of New York City; a sister, Sandra Usalis, of Autryville, NC., a brother, Gene Yeager, and his wife, Jeannie, of Sacramento, CA., a sister, Kathy, and her husband, Tom Gwiazdowski, of Hamburg; many treasured nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael and Fanny Pavlishin; his Uncle Michael Pavlishin.

After 65 years, Claire M. "Prunie" Schultz of Pottsville closed her eyes forever the afternoon of August 9, 2019.
Born in Pottsville, PA on February 13, 1954 to Louis and Miriam "Mim" (Kanter) Tassone.
Prunie was a member of the Pottsville AMVETS and a beloved member of Buck Fever in Pottsville, whose members she considered extended family.
She's now reunited with her parents, her sisters: Donna, Louise, and Patsy, and her younger brother Richard.
Sadly, she leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Edward "Butch" Schultz, her son Todd "Bimmer" Schultz and Lisa, granddaughter Alana, furry friends: Marley and Prince; a brother Ned Heffner; several nieces and nephews; lots of family; and a gazillion friends.
Honoring Prune's wishes her family will not have funeral services.

Isabel M. Kelly, 98, of Pottsville, passed away on Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter.
Born in Danville, on April 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Rosalie M. (Knopka) Lewis.
She was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School.
Isabel was a life long member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church for 96 years.
She was a teacher’s aide at St. Joseph Learning Center, Pottsville.
Isabel was a Girl Scout Leader for 12 years, a Cub Scout Leader for 8 years, and spent many years on the PTO.
She enjoyed baking, especially her New Years pretzels, and for the church bake sales and preparing food for others.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Kelly, in 2002 and to whom she was married 59 years; children: Mary Lou Mahy and Timothy Kelly; brothers: Bernard, Harold, Francis, and George; sisters: Marian and Edna.
Isabel is survived by daughters: Patricia Anne Hughes, wife of Blaine, of Blandon and Bridget M. Leskin, wife of Joseph J., of Brokton; sons: Robert J. Kelly, husband of Claudia, of Mar Lin and Shawn P. Kelly, husband of Kelly, of Minersville; grandchildren: Christine, Jennifer, Michelle, Joseph, Helen Marie, James, Andrew, Richard, and Cody; great grandchildren: Brandon, Morgan, Christopher, Hannah, James, Riley, Erica, Abbey, Grady, Caitlin, and Rosalind; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville and on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the procession will leave for church.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.

David W. McKinney, 21, Frackville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Pottsville he was the son of David McKinney and Sheila Rutko. He had been employed as a cook for Cracker Barrel restaurant, Frackville.

Lucy Ann Wolfe, age 57, of Saint Clair, PA passed away Sunday, August 11th, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown.
Born in Pottsville, PA on January 31, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Gilroy) Veach and Robert Slater.
Lucy took care of mentally and physically impaired adults at the Community Service Group in Frackville.
She was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Pottsville and a former member of the First United Methodist Church in William Penn. Lucy loved to go to the ocean and the beach, especially Ocean City, MD.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Marty Veach.
Lucy is survived by her husband of 19 years, Robert E. Wolfe; two sons: Rick and Randy Taylor; a daughter Crystal Wolfe; step-children: Cassie and Jessica Wolfe and Dawn Collins; 8 grandchildren; two brothers: Mike and Bob Veach; three sisters: Betty Swantek; Leona Novatka; and Debbie Kaplafka; and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 7:30PM on Friday, August 16th, with Pastor David Poissant officiating. David W. McKinney, 21, Frackville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Pottsville he was the son of David McKinney and Sheila Rutko. He had been employed as a cook for Cracker Barrel restaurant, Frackville.
He was a 2016 graduate of North Schuylkill High School where he was a member of the Spartan Band. He was a talented guitar and drum musician and an avid Steelers fan. David loved his family and friends and even in death he gave life to several people by being an organ donor.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandparents Edward and Bernadette Moran, Ashland, his step-father John Davis and step-brothers Christopher and Andrew Davis, all of Pottsville, his aunts: Denise Ulceski and Amy Sluvevich and by additional aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
