George William Subick, 76, of Girardville, PA, passed away Friday, August 16th, at Geisinger Medical Center.
George was born in Butler Township , on July 7, 1943, a son of the late Angeline (Ranieri) and Joseph Subick.
He attended Immaculate Heart High School and earned a GED from North Schuylkill.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion.
He worked as a metal worker for Agmet Company.
George was an avid Eagles and Notre Dame fan. George enjoyed his morning walks with his dog, Lady, and talked to everyone he met along the way.
He is preceded in death by his wife Maryann (Uditis) Subick who passed away August 8, 2019. His son George Jason passed away at home August 20th, 2019.
George is also survived by a daughter Stephanie, wife of Peter Kleeman, of Girardville, and a brother, Joseph Subick and his wife of FL. Sister in laws: Peggy Subick of Girardville, and Patricia McCaul of Drums, cousins, nieces and nephews. Also, very close and loving neighbors on the block.

George was born in Pottsville, PA on January 24, 1978, a son of the late Maryann (Uditis) and George William Subick.
Graduated from North Schuylkill Jr./Sr. High School in 1996.
He worked for Hollander Home Fashions, High Ridge.
George was a loving and caring son to his parents, George and Mary Ann Subick, who preceded him in death. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid Phillies, Eagles, and Notre Dame fan.
George is also survived by a sister Stephanie, wife of Peter Kleeman, of Girardville, and a uncle, Joseph Subick and his wife of FL. Aunts: Peggy Subick of Girardville, and Patricia McCaul of Drums, and cousins. Also, very caring, compassionate, and loving neighbors on the block.

David M. Wixted, age 72, of Pottsville, PA passed away Thursday, August 22nd, 2019 at his home. Born in Pottsville, PA on July 1, 1947, he was the son of the late Martin and Isabel (Sattizahn) Wixted. Dave was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, Class of 1965, He then earned a B.A. Degree in English Education from Mount St. Mary's University in Emmttsburg, MD. Dave was a Science teacher at Nativity B.V.M. High School from 1973 till 1979, then worked as a Food Salesman and Regional Manager at Unilever in New Jersey until 2001 and last worked for the Auditor General in PA for 5 years until retiring. Dave was a Board Member for the Pottsville Housing Authority. He was the assistant football coach at Nativity for over 25 years and also the assistant basketball and track coach and the head coach of the baseball team. Dave started the annual golf tournament to aide the Nativity football team. He was inducted in the Tubby Allen-Chet Rogowicz Sports Hall of Fame in 2004. Dave was a member of the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville. He loved working in the garden and was an avid story teller. Dave was always the life of the party and loved all of his family and friends, especially his grandchildren, who were his Pride and Joy Dave is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cynthia (Barbetta) Wixted, Pottsville; a son David J. Wixted and his wife Shannon, Austin, TX; a daughter Jennifer Scancella and her husband James, Havertown, PA; two grandchildren: Sophia and James; a sister Barbara Hayes, Waynesboro, PA; a brother M. Kevin Wixted, New York; and cousins, nieces, and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville at 10AM on Monday, August 26th. Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday from 6-8PM and Monday from 8:30-9:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon. Steve Georgevic, 52, died Friday at his home in St. Clair.
Born in Bitola, Yugoslavia July 7, 1967, He was a son of the late George and Anna (Hrastnik) Georgevic.
He was a Graduate of Pottsville Area High School.
Steve worked as a self-employed Carpet Layer.
He was a member of Greek Orthodox Faith.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Natalia Tanchevski and her husband Dimitar of FL Ivana Georgevic of FL; Simona Georgevic of FL; sister Violet Pavlovski and her husband Petar of St. Clair; grandson Stefan, niece Kristina and nephew Nikola.

Theodore Francis "Ted" Casey, 35, of West Chester and formerly of Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday.
He was the beloved son of William J. and Sarah T. "Sally" (Krah) Casey.
Born in West Reading on October 16, 1983, Ted was a 2002 graduate of Pottsville High School, where he lettered in various sports and activities. A lover of anything outdoors, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from Pennsylvania State University, while grounds-keeping for several PGA tournaments, including events at Oakmont Country Club, Merion County Club and Pebble Beach Country Club, before working his way full-time through Duquesne University School of Law, from which he obtained his law degree.
Admitted to practice in federal and state courts, Ted was committed to justice for the underserved, particularly for victims of domestic violence and in family and, most recently, immigration matters. He served proudly as a Director of Side Project Inc., a Pittsburgh-based non-profit incubator.
Ted was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. He was many other things also: thoughtful, generous and charming among the better ones. He was distinguished among his family for being corrected by the then-Chair of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee for “bunny-earing” his sister in a formal Senate photo. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters Brenna Marable, wife of Rodney, of Somerville, MA; Maeve Spatt, wife of David, of Ambler, PA; and Mairead Casey, of Somerville, MA. Ted also is survived by six beloved nephews and nieces: Miles Gabriel Marable, Ella Mercedes Marable, William Renard Marable (his godson), Bronwyn Louise Marable, Fiona Rose Spatt (his god-daughter) and Nora Ruth Spatt.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, August 29th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 913 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. Visitation with family will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901. Born in Saint Clair on March 11, 1937 he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Kurtz) Petrozino.
He married Joyce (Everdale) Petrozino on July 2, 1960.
He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair.
He retired from the former Pottsville Bleach & Dye, Port Carbon after 29 years and also worked as a bus driver for Gawley Transportation Saint Clair for over 20 years.
In his spare time you could always find him in is garage working on his family & friends vehicles.
He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Petrozino; 2 sisters Frances Vinanskie and Theresa Maley.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years Joyce; 3 sons, Robert Petrozino and his wife Melissa of Pottsville; Michael Petrozino and his wife Denise of St. Clair; Thomas Petrozino of St. Clair; daughter Susan Petrozino and her companion Keith of St. Clair; 8 grandchildren Bobbi Lynn, Kristen, Nicole, Rachael, Michael, Sarah, Tyler, Vinnie; 9 Great Grandchildren; He is also survived by a brother-in-law Charles (Joanne) Everdale : Nieces and Nephews.

Ronald N. Miller, 80, of Ono, passed away Sunday, August 18th at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Helfenstein, October 9, 1938, a son of the late Nelson P. and Irene L. (Dean) Miller.
Ron enlisted in the United States Marines at age 17, where he earned his GED. He proudly served his country from 1956-1959 where he was assigned to Radio Communication / Cryptology.
He was a retired electrician from Ft. Indiantown Gap, Annville. Following retirement he was a electrician for M & M Electric.
Ron attended Fredericksburg Baptist Church. He was a member of the SB76 Group, Harrisburg. Ron enjoyed being in the outdoors, and loved fishing, hunting and gardening. He also enjoyed cooking.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Seyfert.
Surviving are his wife, Jo M. (Zimmerman) Miller; three children, Dean Miller, Tower City; Michelle Blauch, Jonestown and Rhonda Trokie, Lebanon; Eleven grandchildren, including, Jeanna and Brandt Seyfert whom Ron and Jo are raising; Five great grandchildren; one brother, David Miller, Helfenstein and one sister, Bernice Griffiths, Mount Carmel; Nieces and nephews.
