Steven Joshua Molina, 24, of Ashland, PA passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 in Gordon, PA.
Born November 18, 1994 in San Diego, CA the son of Melissa Molina of Ashland and Manuel Steve Molina of Albuquerque, NM.

Josh graduated from North Schuylkill High School, Class of 2013 and attended Clarion University. He was a member of the swim team in both High School and College. Most recently, he worked at Tri-State Envelope. He enjoyed being with his friends, playing video games, and singing karaoke.
Along with his parents, Josh is survived by his sister: Nikole of Ashland. Grandfather: Charles Sienkiewicz of Frackville. Grandmother: Karen Letts of Ashland. Nana Vicky Molina and Tata Manuel Molina both of Albuquerque, NM.
Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM Friday, August 30, 2019 at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland with Rev. Dana Heckman-Biel officiating. Viewing 5:00-8:00 PM Friday, August 30 at the funeral home.

John M. Kodash, 69, of Frackville, died Monday August 26, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Pottsville, September 24, 1949, He was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Whalen) Kodash
He retired as an Educator from Schuylkill County Vocational Technical Schools, Mar Lin & Frackville.
John was a member of Grace E. C. Church, Schuylkill Haven, an Avid Philadelphia Sports Fan, NASCAR Enthusiast, Hunter and Fisherman. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving service dog Austin; a brother.
Surviving are his wife Linda (Rupp) Kodash; a daughter Lori Knittle and her husband Kenny of Deer Lake; Grandchildren Dylan and Heidi Knittle; Brother-in-Law Harry Rupp and his wife Joan; Nephews Ryan Rupp; Jeremy Mylin & his wife Amanda; a Brother.
A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday September 21, 2019 at Grace E. C. Church, 15 Earl Stoyer Dr. Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 with Rev. J. Ted Rathman. Donald J. Burns, 84, of Pottsville, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 27th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill, E. Norwegian St., Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville on March 19, 1935, he was a son of the late Frank M. & Camillus M. (Garrigan) Burns.
He was the loving husband of 56 years to Mary Ann (Puzauskie) Burns.
Don was a graduate of St. Stephen High School, Class of 1953.He also graduated from American Institute of Banking, and Ford School of Business.
He had been employed by the former Miners National Bank as security officer of bank properties for 40 years, until his retirement in 1995.Don had also worked for City Bank of Washington, and Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home.
He was a member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon, having served as a lector. Don also belonged Mechanicsville Beneficial Association, the former Mechanicsville Hose Company, Perry Township Game Association, Shoemakersville Game Association, and the NRA.He also belonged to AARP, former Pottsville Club, Mechanicsville Borough Sewer Authority, and had served as an advisor of the 4H Club. Don loved to travel. Some of his favorite destinations were New England, Scotland, Ireland, & Mexico.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Lewis F. Burns, in 2006.
In addition to his wife, Don is also survived by a brother, Paul E. Burns, husband of Mary Montag Burns, Pottsville, a niece, Heather Bartashus Baker, Mechanicsburg, two grandchildren, Emma, & Abigale Motta, a godchild, Laura Browne, County Cork, Ireland, and was a Special Pop Pop to Chloe Sofia Heck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 31st, officiated by Monsignor William Glosser.
A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of mass at church.
Interment will follow mass at Skyview Memorial Park, Hometown, PA.

Betty E. Zimmerman, 81, of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.
Born on December 1, 1937 in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Beatrice Snyder Fritz.
Betty worked at Gold Mills, Pine Grove in the Warping Dept.
Preceding her in death were her husband Andrew J. Zimmerman in 2016, great-grandchild, Hannah LeVan; 3 brothers, Jack Fritz, Harry Fritz, Richard Fritz; sister, Dorothy Berger.
Surviving are a son, Dean and wife Barbarann Zimmerman of Jonestown; daughter, Deb and husband Marlin LeVan of Donaldson; 4, Grandchildren, Casey and wife Dawn LeVan, Andy LeVan, Jerry Schmoyer, Dave Schmoyer, 19 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Edwin Fritz, Thomas Fritz, both of Pine Grove, Robert Fritz of Annville.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Deanna Geiter officiating. There will be a calling time on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Susan R. Carter, RN, 65, of Sheppton, passed away Monday, August 26th, 2019.
Susan was born in Shenandoah on April 22, 1954, a daughter of the late Doris (Zimmerman) and Raymond Foose.
A graduate of both the West Hazleton High School and the St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, she worked in the health care industry as a registered nurse in many different capacities throughout her career, from working in the Hamburg and White Haven Centers, to Director of Nursing at Broad Mountain Manor, being a hospice nurse and also owning and operating the former Angel Villa Personal Care Home in Sheppton.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Brandonville where she was a former church council member. Sue was also a lover of animals.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Carter in February of 2019, and by a daughter, Christie Sue in 1981 and a sister, Betty Bley in 2011.
Sue is survived by her son, Bernie Carter and his wife Jacqueline, of Catawissa and a sister, Margaret Krupilis, of Brandonville. Nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 31st at St. John's Lutheran Church in Brandonville. with Pastor Jay Serafin officiating.
A viewing will be held at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown from 5 to 8 PM on Friday evening and from 10-11 AM Saturday at the church.
Susan will be laid to rest in the Brandonville Union Cemetery, immediately following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Brandonville or the American Cancer Society.
