A Tremont man has been identified as the victim in a one vehicle crash in Reilly Township late Sunday.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, just after 9:00pm, emergency personnel were dispatched to Route 209 in Reilly Township, between Newtown and Tremont, for a one-vehicle crash.
Police say Keith Eichert, 50, of Tremont, was travelling south on Route 209 in a 1991 GMC Sonoma Pickup truck when the truck left the road and struck a large tree.
Eichert was pronounced dead at the scene by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Albert Barnes.
Route 209 was closed for about 2 hours after the crash.
