According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, around 5:49pm on Thursday, September 19, 2019, Kevin Moore, 47, of Schuylkill Haven was driving his Jeep Wrangler on Route 924 about a mile north of Phinneyville Road when the glare of the sun caused him to steer off the road.
Moore reported counter steered and lost control and struck a tree.
Police say Moore was injured in the crash and transported to an area hospital with a broken hip.
Moore was reported to be wearing his seat belt.
