Grant D. Dohner, II, 68, of Schneck Dr., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at home.
Born on November 16, 1950 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Grant D. and Hannah Shollenberger Dohner.
Grant was a 1968 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
He retired after 21 years from the United States Air Force where he was a Fabrication and Parachute Supervisor and held a rank of TSGT. After his retirement from the service he worked in the Shipping/Receiving Dept. at SAPA in Cressona for 15 years.
He was a member of Pine Grove VFW Post 3432 and the National Chapter of the DAV.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years on June 3, 2019, Lolita Sanchez Dohner; son, Aaron Dohner of Ringtown; daughter, Nikki Dohner of Pottsville; 3 grandchildren, Ayden, Casey and Koa Dohner; 3 sisters, Annie Yorty, Susan Knapp, and Tina Tobias, all of Pine Grove.
Graveside Services with military honors and interment will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

Joan M. Zimmerman, 85, of Swopes Valley Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Providence Place, Pine Grove.
Born on September 12, 1933 in Tremont, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Verna Snyder Miller.
She was a graduate of Tremont High School and Central Penn Business School.
Joan worked as a Bookkeeper for Franklin Coal Company. She also helped her husband sell Christmas Trees on the family's Tree Farm.
She was a member of St. Peter's UCC, Tremont where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years and sang in the choir since she was a little girl. She also baked pies for the church. She enjoyed playing cards in her card club.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Clare C. "Nubby" Zimmerman; sister, Patricia Hancock; brother, Franklin Miller.
Surviving is her sister, Judith Miller of Pine Grove; two sons, Steven Zimmerman, David and wife Christine Zimmerman, both of Pine Grove; daughter, Elaine and husband Robert Swords of Lititz; 9 grandchildren, Brandon and wife Jennifer Swords, Mitchell and wife Allison Swords, Matthew and wife Misha Swords, Bradley Swords, Amanda Swords, Michael Zimmerman, Joshua Zimmerman, Angela and husband Dan Border, Melissa and husband Levi Moser; 13 great grandchildren, Addison, Brady, McKinsey, Colin, Tanner, Teagan, Ariella, Benjamin and Jesse Swords, Josiah "JoJo" Zimmerman, Leonidas, Roman and London Moser.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 11:30 A.M.at St. Peter's U.C.C.Church, 57 Spring St. Tremont with Rev. Claude Schach and Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy officiating. There will be a viewing on Friday, September 6, 2019, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at the Church.
Interment will follow in Fountain Community Cemetery.

Shirley L. Neidlinger, 84, of Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Providence Place in Pine Grove.
Born on September 25, 1934 in Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Olive Herring Zimmerman.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Tremont.
Shirley worked as a seamstress for various factories.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 65 years, Earl Neidlinger, son, Kevin Neidlinger, grandson, Jason Neidlinger.
Surviving are three sons, Gary and wife Cathy Neidlinger, Alton and wife Debra Neidlinger, both of Schuylkill Haven, Eric and wife Bonnie Lee Neidlinger of Kentucky; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Zimmerman of Pottsville, Robert Zimmerman of Pine Grove; sister, Dorothy Voydik of Cressona.
Interment will be in Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Margaret N. Hammer, 88 of Pottsville passed away peacefully Thursday while at her daughter’s home after a brief illness.
Born in Lebanon, September 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Lacy Zombro and Joyce Heiter.
Margaret was a high school graduate and went on to receive her nursing degree. She worked as an LPN at the Good Samaritan Hospital as well as private practice for many years.
She was married to the late John J. Hammer, Sr. who passed away in 1996.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret is predeceased by her daughter Billie Rae Manning and brothers Harvey and Tracey Zombro.
Margaret is survived by her children; Jack Hammer, Jr. of Schuylkill Haven, Tom Hammer husband to Donna of Pottsville, Rick Hammer of Pottsville, Dianna Powell of California, Cindy Koch of New Ringgold and Bob Hammer of Pottsville. She is also survived by her sister Jeanette Stegeman and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
