Born Saturday, January 9, 1960 in Germany the daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Herzog) Hanley. She was also predeceased by; husband, Vincent Loprete; brother, Ronald Nelson Hanley.
Surviving are; sons, Joseph Loprete and his wife Trace, Vincent Loprete; daughter, Helena Weiss wife of Gerald; brother, Robert Hanley; sister, Sarah Genaile; grand children, Stephen Weiss, Jayden and Jaxson Loprete.
Charlotte worked for many Deli's in New York City and enjoyed cooking.

June K. Zehner, 70, of Tamaqua, PA died on Thursday, September 26, 2019 in Allentown, PA. Born in Coaldale, PA on February 5, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Junior F. and Catherine “Dolly” (nee Herring) Zehner. A graduate of Tamaqua High School, June K. worked as a secretary for the Tamaqua School District until her retirement. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua. June K is survived by a brother, Donald F. Zehner of Webster City, IA; nephew, Donald A. “Chip” Zehner and his wife, Kristin of Boone, IA; great nieces, Emersyn Zehner and Rowan Zehner; and cousin, Sandy Mehalko and her husband, Joe of Hometown, PA. Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 30 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua. Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown will follow the services. Kathryn V. Finn-Zokaitis, 92, Frackville, passed away peacefully Thursday morning at Broad Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Dolores R. Crochunis, age 87, of Port Carbon, PA passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 at her home. Born in Middleport, PA on August 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Stump) Toback.
Chief Warrant Officer 2 George J. Savakinas, 87, of Gordon, passed away on Wednesday, September 25th at his home. He was born in Turkey Run on April 23rd, 1932 to the late John and Stella “Zarcufsky” Savakinas.
George was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He worked as an agent for American General Life Insurance company for many years until his retirement. Outside of his military and work career, he enjoyed fishing, doing rub-off tickets, going to the casino’s, and betting on horses.
Besides his parents John and Stella, he was also preceded by his stepmother, Helen Savakinas, and 2 brothers, John and Ralph Savakinas.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Helen A. “Hand” Savakinas, 1 son, George Savakinas Jr. with his wife Kimberly – West Chester, Pa, 4 daughters, Mary Ellen Murphy with her husband Daniel – Shenandoah, Pa, Estelle Schreppel – Ashland, Pa and son-in-law Thomas of Zion Grove, Pa, Anna Lee Lorman with her husband John – Waldorf, Md, and Shannon Stefanisko with her husband Neil – Gordon, Pa, 1 brother, Ronald Savakinas with his wife Nancy – Ringtown, Pa, 1 sister, Beverly Savakinas – Shenandoah, Pa, 9 grandchildren, Shawn Schreppel with his wife Lisa, Thomas Schreppel, Jaime Murphy, Kellie Murphy, Alicia Smith with her husband Chad, John Lorman with his wife Kelsey, Matthew Lorman, Jacob Shearn, and Luke Stefanisko. Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren, Sheldon Schreppel, Abigail Schreppel, Ethan Meyer, Cooper Smith, Ainsley Smith, Savana Lee Schreppel, and Shelby Cicero, and several beloved aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 4th at 10:30am in Divine Mercy Parish – Sacred Worship Site – St. Casimir’s, 229 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah officiated by Fr. Dominic Pham. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5 to 8pm at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah and again on Friday morning from 8 to 10am at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be held at 12:30pm on Friday in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.

Dolores R. Crochunis, age 87, of Port Carbon, PA passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 at her home. Born in Middleport, PA on August 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Stump) Toback.
Dolores worked as a seamstress at State Manufacture in New Philadelphia. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Port Carbon. Dolores loved walking, crocheting, and most of all being a Mother and a Grand Mother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Anthony Joseph Crochunis on March 30, 2002, two sons: Gregory and Michael Crochunis and a brother Charles Toback. Dolores is survived by son Anthony Crochunis and his wife Jeanne, Pottsville; daughter Joan Flecha, Port Carbon; son Richard Crochunis and his wife Carol, Minersville; 12 grandchildren: Alex, Vincent, Peter, David, Angela, Michael, Tony, Jason, Stacey, Briana, Mason, and Tristan; 16 great-grandchildren; brother Richard Toback, PA; three sisters: Christine Spring, NC, Joan Sabitsky, NJ, and Mary Kellet, NY; and nieces and nephews.

Ralph I. Boyer, 81, of Tremont, passed away Monday night surrounded by his family.
Born in Pottsville, April 18, 1938, a son of the late Irvin and Florence Machamer Boyer.
Ralph was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Following being discharged from the military he worked at Cape Canaveral as an Electronic Technician.
He was retired as a Quality Inspector from Penn Dye, Pine Grove.
He was of the Protestant Faith.
He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. He was an all around handyman.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Boyer.
Surviving are his wife, Karyl E. Krammes Boyer; three daughters, Pamela K. Swingle (William ) Newtown; Angela G. Maley, Tremont and Kimberly R. Frey (Christian), Schuylkill Haven; seven grandchildren, Tara, Tylor, Kirsten, Meg, Tiffany, Tavian and Tanae; nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 30th at 12:30 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Jane L. Werner, 94, of S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill East.
Born on November 17, 1924 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Guy R. and Dorothy Bowman Lengel.

Jane loved her family, friends and home. She enjoyed playing cards with the card club, trips to the beach in Avalon, NJ, watching sports, working the election polls and doing cryptograms. Jane especially enjoyed Thanksgiving, for that holiday her whole family was with her and she was very thankful for the memories..
Preceding her in death were her first husband, William E. Burke, Sr., second husband, William Werner; son, William E. Burke, Jr, and a step grandson.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy and wife Megan Burke of Port Orange, FL, Frederick "Fritz" and wife Heather Burke; daughter Marcia Burke; daughter-in-law Sally Burke; step son Craig and wife Robin Werner, all of Pine Grove; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; 5 grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at Most Blessed Trinity Parish, 113 Cherry St. Tremont, with Father Paul Rothermel officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
