The Geisinger Careworks urgent care team in Pottsville is ready to care for anyone who is feeling under the weather, and now they’re here for patients seven days a week. The Geisinger Careworks at 529 Terry Reiley Way in Pottsville is now open seven days a week: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Careworks urgent care locations are the best place to go for minor health issues that can be resolved in a single visit, including cold and flu symptoms. The Pottsville office offers rapid flu testing, which provides a result in about 20 minutes.
To help prevent the spread of flu this season, patients 9 years of age and older can visit the Careworks office and receive a flu shot without an appointment.
The Pottsville location also provides patients convenient access to additional care, including laboratory, X-ray and Geisinger CareSite Pharmacy services.
