The high school football game scheduled for Friday night when Marian Catholic visited Mahanoy Area will not happen after the Colts forfeited.Marian stated that they forfeited the game and canceled the remainder of their season due to a lack of players.
The team plans to form a team for the 2020-2021 season.
On Thursday evening, Shenandoah Valley reached out and made an offer to Mahanoy Area. The Senior Recognition night scheduled for Week 9 at Mahanoy Area will now take place during Week 10 at Shenandoah Valley.
