Those who attended the North Schuylkill/Tamaqua game at Spartan Stadium didn't want to move from their seat Friday night.Although the Spartans took home the victory Friday night, it wasn't until the final minutes of the game that they were able to breathe a little easier.
Throughout the game, it was the Tamaqua Raiders gun slinging passing offense and North Schuylkill's run game offense up against two tough defenses.
The game was within 3 points up until the final minutes of the fourth quarter when the Spartans turned 21-18 into 27-18.
The Spartans fought hard for their victory after Tamaqua was North Schuylkill's only loss during the regular season in 2018.
North Schuylkill moves on to face Blue Mountain in Orwigsburg next week and Tamaqua will visit Lehighton.
