According to Chief Gerard Daley, the suspect or suspects are gaining access to these homes through open windows and doors.
Multiple items have been removed including tools, money, televisions, and other items.
Daley is reminding residents to make sure all their doors and windows are locked including vehicles.
Anyone who sees anything suspicious or has information is asked to contact the Ashland Police Department at (570) 875-2600 or by calling the Schuylkill County Communications at (570) 462-1991.
