Pottsville Area had a great season and were not going to let it go without a fight.On Friday night, the Pottsville Crimson Tide faced Jersey Shore in the Quarterfinals of the PIAA State 4A Playoffs.
Pottsville entered the game favored to win and it looked like they were going to blow out Jersey Shore scoring 21 points in the 1st quarter.
Jersey Shore would answer back in the second and would go into the half with the score of 21-14, Pottsville still in the lead.
Nobody would score in the 3rd, and Jersey Shore would tie it up at 21 to end the 4th and send the game into overtime.
Both teams would answer back and forth int 3 overtimes until Jersey Shore pulled ahead to finish the game 42-35.
