PPL is reporting that there are still multiple small outages around Schuylkill County Thanksgiving afternoon.According to PPL, there are over 700 homes without power as of 2:30pm, Thursday.
The following communities are reporting outages
- Hegins Township
- Mahanoy Township
- North Manheim Township
- North Union Township
- Pine Grove Township
- Porter Township
- Pottsville
- Rush Township
- Union Township
- Washington Township (Largest Outage: Close to 300 Homes)
- West Brunswick Township (100 Homes)
- West Penn Township (137 Homes)
PPL crews are out actively working on getting power turned back on for these communities.
The high winds that have caused these outages is expected to last until this evening with the Wind Advisory being extended until 8:00pm.
