Santa Claus is set to skydive into a Schuylkill County community on Black Friday to start the holiday season.On Friday, November 29, 2019, Mrs. T’s Pierogies will host the 13th annual Skydiving Santa event to kick-off the holiday season in Shenandoah.
Santa will skydive and parachute into Veteran's Memorial Stadium, next to Shenandoah Valley High School at 12:00pm. Gates will open at 10:30am.
If weather forces Santa to cancel his Skydive, he will arrive at the stadium by helicopter or firetruck.
Following Santa’s arrival, he will parade through the town along with the Shenandoah Valley High School Band, local fire trucks and the Shenandoah Police Department.
The first 200 children under the age of twelve to attend the event will receive a free gift.
Mrs. Claus, Frosty the Snowman and Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer will be in attendance greeting the crowd along with face painting Elves.
