Esther Petercsak, 80, of Somerset, NJ formerly of North Richland Hills, TX and Frackville, died Wednesday November 6, 2019 at Spring Hills Assisted Living Facility, Somerset.
Born in Frackville, June 15, 1939, She was a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Sema) Chrin.
She retired as a Cost Account at Fragrance Resources, Keyport, NJ.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Greek Catholic Church, Euless Tx, where she was very involved with Philoptochos and was a Sunday School Teacher for the past 15 years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters Julia Petronko and Theresa Kasmer; brother Andrew Chrin.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years Stephen A. Petercsak; son Steven Petercsak of Belle Mead, NJ; sisters Maryann Mucklow of Holidaysburg and Olga Escudero of Bensalem;Grandchildren? ; Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday November 9, 2019 from Nice Hart Funeral Home 9 N. Lehigh Ave. Frackville, PA 17931. Further Services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday from Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, 209 South Lehigh Avenue Frackville with Very Rev Archpriest James Jadick officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday with Parastas at 7:30PM and 9:00 -10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Ascension Orthodox Cemetery, Frackville.

Joseph Patrick Gleason, 81, of Forestville, Cass Township, passed away on Tuesday at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital.
Born in Pottsville on December 16, 1937, he was a son of the late Martin and Victoria Bonchalk Gleason. He attended Cass Township schools, and worked at ALCOA for 13 years before it closed. He then worked briefly for Mirawal in Port Carbon before taking employment in the maintenance department of Indiantown Gap Military Reservation. He later worked in warehouse logistics at the Gap.
He was an Army veteran, having served as a SP4 with the 496th Quartermaster Company at Fort Lee, Virginia.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Minersville. He was also a member of the American Legion, Post 544, the Forestville Citizens Fire Company and the Forestville Fish and Game Club.
He enjoyed browsing in markets and auctions throughout the region.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Gleason, in 1996.
Surviving are his wife, the former Teresa A. Ganly, to whom he was married for 40 years; five siblings, Anna Marie Cason (spouse, Eugene), Greenfield, Cass Township, Arlene Spiess (spouse, John), Spring City, Robert Gleason (spouse, Marcia), Phoenix Park, Lawrence Gleason, Greenfield, and Maureen Gontarchick (spouse, Bernard), Marlin; nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Joseph Ganly, Tremont.
The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 6:00 A.M. until 9:45 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 539 Sunbury Street, Minersville. Interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Township.
