According to the Township, Turkey Hill Minit Markets, LP has submitted an application to the township requesting several variances.
The current store sits on the Parcel located at 2931 Fairgrounds Road, in Lavelle, but the company has since purchased 365 Main Street, Lavelle, and an additional adjacent parcel in preparation of the expansion. The additional parcels are currently zoned as High Density Residential zones.
The project is reported to involve demolition of the current store, the home that is behind the current store, and rebuilding a brand new 2,000 sq. foot fast food restaurant and movement of the current fuel island and gas tanks.
The public is invited to Thursday's meeting which will take place at 7:00pm at 211 Broad Street, in Fountain Springs.
