Around 6:20pm, fire crews were called to 1905 Market Street for an electrical fire involving an outlet on fire with the fire possibly spreading into a wall.
Members of the Ashland Fire Department responded to the scene within minutes and were able to extinguish the fire quickly containing the fire to the area of the electrical outlet.
Responding to the scene were the Washington Fire Department, American Hose Company, and Washington Ambulance.
Crews were at the scene for roughly 20 minutes before clearing.
