Auditor General Reports No Findings After Audit of the North Schuylkill School District

The North Schuylkill School District received a good report after the State Auditor General completed a routine performance audit.


The audit covered the period of July 1st, 2014 through July 30th, 2018 and focused on Transportation Operations, Nonresident Student Data, and Bus Driver Requirements.

On June 4th, 2015, a prior audit was released resulting in three findings which included:
  • Failure to have required Bus Driver Qualifications and a Comprehensive Board Approved List of Bus Drivers for the 2013-14 School Year on File
  • Ineligible Compsensation Paid and Possibly Ineligible Wages Paid for Retirement
  • Lack of Board Action on Required Items
The audit findings report that those three items have been corrected.
