James V. Ogrodnick, 50, of Frackville, PA, passed away Sunday, December 15th, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
James was born in Morea, PA on February 22, 1969, a son of the late Roseanne (Thornton) and John Ogrodnick.
He owned Jimmy O’s Sports Bar which he opened on August 30th, 2011 for friends and family from near and far to come and enjoy sports and each other’s company.
Graduated from Marian class of 1987, and McCanns School of Business with an Associate’s degree.
James is survived by a daughter, Angela Ogrodnick, of Zion Grove, and by two brothers, Dr. John Ogrodnick, of Colorado; Mark Ogrodnick, of Frackville.
He is also survived by Nieces and nephews.
James is preceded in death by a brother Brian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker parish (St Anns 49 North Line Street), Frackville, at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 21st.

Marjorie Catherine Krill, 91, of Barnesville, PA died on Sunday, December 15 in Coaldale, PA. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Krill who died in 1969 and to whom she was married 20 years at the time of his death. Born in Shenandoah, PA on May 17, 1928, Marjorie was a daughter of the late Elmer and Elizabeth (nee Heckman) Brobst. A graduate of the former Delano High School, Delano, PA, she had her own beauty salon in Quakake, PA since 1970 and was employed in the business office of the former Coaldale State Hospital for 20 years. Marjorie loved to cook, bake, knit, and crochet. For her work with the residents of the Hometown Nursing and Rehab Center, she received a citation from the PA House of Representatives. In addition, Marjorie was named Person of the Week by the Pottsville Republican Herald in 1993. She was of the Protestant faith. Marjorie was predeceased by her daughter, Doris Krill in 1985. Marjorie’s twin sister, Margaret Fegley, also predeceased her. She is survived by grandsons, Christopher Brick of Barnesville and Douglas Krill and his wife, Tina of Quakake; great grandson, Darren Krill; sisters, Doris Brobst and Gloria Gerhard; and several nephews and nieces. Services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, December 20 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua. Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown, PA will follow the services. Manuel J. "Manny" Lopez, beloved father and Pop Pop, age 89, of Schuylkill Haven, PA, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, December 16th, while in the company of family members at Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown, PA.
Born in New Philadelphia, PA on November 24, 1930, he was a son of the late Manuel & Agnes (Galenda) Lopez.
He was the widower of Helen V. (Chicora) Lopez, his wife of nearly 60 years, who passed away on September 6, 2010.
Mr. Lopez was an active and faithful member of Pine Grove Wesleyan Church.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Lopez was formerly employed by RCA in Camden, NJ, and retired from Autologic, after working as a senior service customer engineer.
Throughout his life, Manny enjoyed flying he and his family to numerous destinations as a private pilot.He was also a HAM radio operator.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is also preceded in death by his step-mother, Helen Ney, and siblings: Gloria McNulty, James Lopez, Eugene, Fred, and Albert Kessock.
Mr. Lopez is survived by a daughter, Diane Cavanaugh & husband, John, Mahanoy City, two sons:Joseph Lopez & his wife, Mary, Schuylkill Haven, and Mark Lopez & wife, Carol, Schuylkill Haven, grandchildren: Danielle, & Keith Cavanaugh, Vanessa Albo, and Matthew, & Maria Lopez, and great-grandchildren: Tyler Cavanaugh, and Mariella Albo.
He is also survived by siblings: Sam Lopez, FL, Bob Lopez, MS, Dolores Dudash, Minersville, AnnaMae Zanis, Seltzer, and George Lopez, Schuylkill Haven, and nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona, PA, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 23rd, with Pastor Kenny Smith officiating.
A viewing will be held Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment with military honors will follow the service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

Patricia A. Pacenta, 87, Pottsville, entered into eternal rest Monday evening at Manor Care Health Services, Pottsville.
Born June 11, 1932, in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Anthony N. and Florence S. (Selgrath) Pacenta.
She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.
Patricia was a 1954 graduate of West Chester University where she obtained her teacher degree. She earned her Master’s Degree in 1960 from Columbia University and later earned her Principal Certification from Scranton University. She was employed by the Pottsville Area School District from 1956 until retiring in 1992. She is fondly remembered by the students who passed through the doors of the John S. Clarke Elementary Center as heading the reading program and eventually becoming their principal.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Peter.
Surviving are her brother Dr. Anthony Pacenta and his wife Valerie, Pottsville; niece Lauren Pacenta; her closest and dearest friend Gloria Land, Pottsville and dogs Murphy, the English bulldog and Chance, the French bulldog.

Gail A. Heberling, 58, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at home.
Born on May 15, 1961 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late William R.and Clarabella E. Fenstermacher Heberling.
She was a member of Hetzel's Church and attended Pine Grove Area Schools.
Surviving are three brothers, William Heberling, Joseph Heberling, and Robert Heberling; two sisters, Darlene Anderson and Mary Sanders; nieces and nephews.

Robert B. Neary, 88, Frackville, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday morning.
Born in Mount Carmel, he was a son of the late James and Catherine Rooney Neary. He worked as a switchman for Bell Telephone for 40 years before retiring in 1996.
Bob was a 1949 graduate of the former Mount Carmel Catholic High School. He was a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a member of S. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville, a life member of the Frackville Elks #1533 and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 628 of Mount Carmel.
Bob was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved fishing but most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his sons and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Neary; three sisters: Mary Furlong, Helen Scrima and Catherine Merkel.
Bob is survived by his five sons: James and his wife Debra Neary, Mahanoy City; Robert (Bo) and his wife Diane Neary, Ocala, FL; John Neary, Frackville; Patrick Neary, Frackville; Michael and his wife Amie Neary, Frackville; his sister, Margaret Waltz, West Chester; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20th at 11 a.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville with Rev. Francis Iroot officiating.
