James V. Wixted, 57, Ashland passed away peacefully Friday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville surrounded by his loving family.

William F. Fredericks, III, age 41, of Pottsville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 15th, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Pottsville, PA on May 15, 1978, he was the son of the late William and Alberta (Butler) Fredericks Jr. Bill worked as a chef at Pottsville Club in Pottsville.
Bill is survived by his wife of 17 years, Tammy M. (Geist) Fredericks; Dad Alfred A. Rich Sr.; son William F. Fredericks IV; daughter Alexis Fredericks; step-son Brandon Witmer; two sisters: Jean Metz; and Kathryn Dennis; three step-brothers: Michael, Jarrod, and Nathan Bowman; and nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be held private.

Ellen M. Laubenstein, 72, of Natures Rd., Pine Grove, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Hershey Medical Center.
Born on August 31, 1947 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ada Yeich Nagle.
She attended Blue Mt. High School and was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Friedensburg.
Preceding her in death was a son Dean Laubenstein.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Donald Laubenstein; a daughter Carolyn Trotter of Schuylkill Haven; a son John and wife Lori Laubenstein of Waterville, Pa.; 4 grandchildren, Nicholas and Taylor Trotter, Dalton and Samantha Laubenstein; a great grandson Cameron Laubenstein; 3 sisters, Doris Brown, Fern Zimmerman and Donna Machamer, all of Pine Grove; 2 brothers, Richard Nagle of Pine Grove and Edwin Nagle of Schuylkill Haven.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. There will be a visitation on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. John's Union Cemetery, Friedensburg.

William L. Balthaser, Sr., 80, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away December 19, 2019 at home.
Bill was born March 17, 1939 in Mohrsville, Pa. to the late John R. and Ada (Blatt) Balthaser.
Bill was a 1957 graduate of Hamburg High School and served in the U.S. Air Force in Texas and Germany. He worked as a Customer Service Engineer for the Burroughs Corp/Unisys for 38 yrs.
He was predeceased by a son, William Jr.; two brothers, John and Dale; two sisters, Doris Koenig and Carol Loose.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Diane (Herring) Balthaser; their sons, Michael of Pine Grove and Mark (wife, Michelle) of Harrisburg; four grandchildren and a brother, Scott of Harrisburg.
