A man in Girardville is locked up for assaulting a woman in the borough on Sunday.According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the incident occurred on Sunday, January 19, 2020 around 1:30pm.
Police say a female victim reported that she was struck in the face and sustained injuries from Jacob Kline, 18, of Girardville during an incident on Reed Street.
Kline was charged with Simple Assault and Harassment and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale on Monday, January 20th, 2020 and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $5,000 cash (10%) bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 22, 2020 before Judge Hale.
