Nuremberg Man Charged with Assault

A man from Nuremberg is facing assault charges after an incident over the weekend.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Saturday, January 25th, 2020, just before 9:00pm, troopers were dispatched to a home on West Brush Street in Nuremberg for a report of a physical domestic that occurred.

Police say when they arrived, the victims told police that Jeremy Schlauch, 42, of Nuremberg had started fighting with them and struck two males multiple times.

Police took Schlauch into custody and charged with him with simple assault and harassment.

Schlauch was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge David Plachko.  Schlauch was released on bail after posting 10% of $25,000 bail.
