According to Mahanoy Township Police, the one car crash occurred around 1:00am on White Owl Drive in Mahanoy Township near Mahanoy City.
For unknown reasons, the vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree heavily damaging the front of the vehicle.
The driver was taken to an area hospital for unknown injuries.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
