The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating a case of identity theft in Girardville.Police say on January 22, 2020, troopers received a report from a victim in Girardville that an account for electrical utilities was opened by obtaining their name and date of birth. The account was out of Orlando, Florida and had a previous balance over $400.00.
Anyone with information or may have had a similar incident happen to them is asked to contact the PSP at Frackville at (570) 874-5300.
