Three Face Drug Charges After Raid in Minersville

Three more people are facing charges after a third drug raid in Minersville in the past week.



According to Minersville Patrolman Jeffrey Bowers, as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation in the borough of Minersville, on Tuesday, January 7th, 2020 around 1:30pm, Bowers and Patrolman Timothy Walsh, along with members of the Cass Township Police and New Philadelphia Police executed a narcotics search warrant at 211 Linden Street, in Minersville, the address of 45 year old Scott Allen Noll.

During the search, in a bedroom, officers found approximately 1/2 ounce of suspected bulk methamphetamine, approximately 1/4 ounce of prepackaged suspected methamphetamine, a digital scale, a glass baking dish containing approximately 2 grams of loose crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine, a box of glassine baggies, a broken mirror with narcotics residue and a glass smoking pipe.

All the substances found during the search tested positive for methamphetamine.

Based on the information gathered during the investigation, Patrolman Bowers charged Noll with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Noll was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David A. Plachko and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $100,000 cash bail.

During the execution of the search warrant, also found to be living at the address were William O'Shaughnessy, 41, and Lisa Colna, 53.

Charges will be filed on O'Shaughnessy for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
