The Pennsylvania State Police at Hazleton is investigated an incident of forgery in East Union Township.According to police, a woman placed her mail in a mailbox in Oneida in early February, but when the victim checked her bank statement, the amount of the check and who the check was written out to was changed.
The investigation is ongoing.
